I observed recently that the "safely eject hardware" icon in my taskbar appears and disappears frequently. It flashes rapidly, making it hard to interact with. After checking, it seems linked to the powered USB hub I own (link provided). When I open Device Manager, the refreshing happens less often—sometimes every few seconds instead of every five. The hub only has a mouse and webcam connected, so I suspect it isn’t drawing excessive power from its dedicated supply. Unplugging and replugging it intermittently stops the refreshing until it reconnects. I also notice random chimes during disconnection and reconnection times. Could anyone else experience this? If so, what fixes have you tried?

Check if there’s a feature to record connection events for each device. This would help identify which one is causing the issues.
