Hi Everyone, I'm experiencing some memory issues or it might be related to my motherboard. Here are the specs: ROG STRIX X470-F, gaming Ryzen 7 2700X, 16GB G-Skill Trident Z at 3200MHz. About two weeks ago, I had six power cuts in roughly 30 minutes—my PC would turn off briefly and restart itself. After the last cut, my main HDD failed, so I planned to move my OS (Windows 10) onto an SSD. Everything seemed normal until now. I realized my RAM was only running at 1600MHz despite showing 16GB. I rebooted in BIOS, but the settings stayed at 3200MHz and memory was still set to 1600MHz. I tried removing the RAM modules and checking if they were properly seated in B2-A2. After swapping them back, it worked again—settings were correct and Windows loaded fine. In Task Manager and CPU-Z, my RAM speed only displayed 8GB. I then swapped them back to see 16GB at 1600MHz. I bought another 16GB Skill Trident Z but got the same problem. Could this be due to a faulty motherboard from those power cuts? Or is there something else I'm missing? Any advice or information would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help.
