It wouldn't surprise me to see it push further to 5000, though you probably don't need that speed unless you're targeting niche use cases. Most people won't be pushing it to that level because of the RAM bottleneck; a fan over the RAM is usually necessary since running at 1.6-1.7v causes overheating. The high speed also makes the RAM more sensitive to temperature, so a good cooling solution is essential. It's a solid chipset, but keep in mind that exceeding an OC of 1.7v can cause long-term IMC issues. The 1800MHz XMP certification accurately shows its true performance, not just the DRAM speed. This is why CPU-Z sometimes underreports speeds—CPU-Z displays half the actual RAM speed, while the real DRAM clock is around 1520MHz (or an older version of this setting). It's been stress-tested for 9 hours straight.
