Hi there. I'm facing some challenges with my Ryzen 5 5600X when playing CS:GO. My old workstation had an E3 CPU and managed around 200 FPS, but now with the R5 5600X on a 240Hz monitor, I'm only getting about 165 FPS. The issue seems to be that even though I capped the limit on my game, it still averages around 165 and spikes up to 300 before dropping. I've tried various settings and tweaks, but nothing seems to help. My PC specs are: MB RAM, Asus Prime 570X-M CPU, Ryzen 5 5600X, Klevv 2×8GB at 3600MHz overclocked, Gigabyte 1080 G1 GPU, Antec 600W gold rated PSU, M2 240R water cooled storage, and a 240GB GREEN SSD. I'm not sure what else to do. Can anyone offer some advice?

Disable G-sync. Have you experimented with configuring the nvcontrol panel to full performance for CSGO?

Check the timing details for the RAM, its actual speed rating prior to overclocking, and whether the FCLK was configured at 1800MHz.

Not very experienced with PCs yet. However, I can tell you that my RAM clock is 3600MHz and I increased its speed to match that frequency.

My setup has G-sync disabled, and with maximum performance settings it boosts my FPS. I’m seeing 400 FPS, which seems great.

If it supports 3600MHz, avoid pushing performance beyond the standard settings. Just turn on XMP and let it run normally. While XMP can be seen as a form of overclocking, it seems you're using a more straightforward approach. Also, don't try to boost your motherboard's speed beyond its rated limit.
