Hey everyone! I’m about to upgrade my failing power supply. When it first turned on, my PC ran perfectly, but it takes between five and twenty presses of the power button. The failing PSU is a Gigabyte P750GM. This morning, after successfully booting up, I went ahead and installed a new one I bought a week ago—a ROG THOR 850W Platinum fully modular model. After swapping out the old cables for the new ones from the PSU, I pressed the power button and everything worked smoothly. My PC started instantly, fans kicked in, and it sounded healthy. However, the BIOS didn’t load, leaving only a black screen. The red CPU indicator on the motherboard stayed solidly lit. I re-plugged and reconnected everything, tried all possible RAM slot combinations without any change in startup. It feels really good, but since this build is two years old, I’m hoping someone can help or suggest improvements. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Please carefully verify everything at the link provided, making sure you fully secure the EPS, ATX and PCIe connections, CPU auxiliary power, and graphics card. Also, confirm that none of the additional cables to drives or the motherboard have been accidentally dislodged or knocked out.
