I wanted to revisit Diablo 2 and add some extra fun with the Single Player Enhancement Mod. After installing Lord of Destruction, I upgraded it to version 1.13c—the update required by the mod (per their instructions). I managed to get the core game running either by enabling windowed mode or using Windows XP compatibility settings in fullscreen. Then I added PlugY since it’s essential for the mod to function. Unfortunately, I couldn’t run it in fullscreen across any version, though it worked in windowed mode. Once I installed the mod, I could launch the game, but whenever I tried to play a saved character or start a new one, an error would appear—an unhandled exception. After some adjustments and no success, I reinstalled everything. Now the game seems to operate smoothly with PlugY enabled, though the SPEM features aren’t showing up. If anyone knows why this mod isn’t working for me or has tips on fixing it, especially for fullscreen, that would be really helpful!

I made a post on Moddb where I downloaded it from and the developer has responded to comments there in the past but it's a 5 year old mod so who knows when/if they will get back to me. Just figured I'd post here too in case anyone had any suggestions.
