CPU: i5 6600K
Motherboard: MSI Z170A PC Mate
Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x 8GB) DDR4 - 3000MHz
GPU: GTX 1060 6gb
In short, I attempted to overclock the system. I enabled OC Genie in the BIOS, setting the default speed to 4.0GHz. Voltage readings were at 1.3V. After rebooting, images and videos displayed distorted pixels. The issue appeared only with pictures and videos, not games. I searched for solutions but found nothing useful. I hope someone can assist me in resolving this problem.

I also tried playing games like Overwatch, and my graphics performance was normal. The problem only occurred during picture and video playback.
Thank you!

Go inside and adjust the manual clocks and voltages for overclocking. This process needs careful tuning and setting.

When aiming to overclock the processor, you must handle it manually. For the GPU, simply leave the BIOS and use MSI afterburner. Check your configurations with unigine and furmark at each adjustment. You need to increase things gradually for GPU core speed and then memory speed. Each situation is different—try them out and observe what happens. If it functions temporarily, try raising the values again.

The_Staplergun :
To increase the processor speed manually, you need to adjust it yourself. For GPU overclocking, leave the BIOS as is and use MSI afterburner. Check your settings with unigine and furmark at each step. You should gradually raise the speed for GPU cores and then memory, as these differ. Try them out and see if anything unusual occurs. If it functions temporarily, increase again.
I haven't overclocked my GPU myself—my CPU was OC'd using OC Genie (included with the motherboard). This is what happened when I attempted to reach 4.0ghz.
