It's still very cold. The issue clears up once I disconnect the USB-C cable and pause for a moment.

I randomly decided to change to Pop_OS! And so far it's worked perfectly—no freezing for a whole day. I'm not sure if it's fully fixed yet, but I feel confident about it now.

It stopped working with Pop_OS as well. Likely the issue is with the port or laptop itself.
