I'm trying modded Minecraft with FTB Revelations, but I'm struggling with low FPS—sometimes hitting just 10 FPS or less. My CPU is around 20% usage, running at about 2 to 3 GHz, and it's not performing well. Anyone have any ideas why this is happening? My setup includes a Ryzen 7 5800X, 32GB RAM (12GB dedicated for Minecraft), and a 3070 TUF OC.

The speed is likely around 3.8GHz rather than 3GHz. Verify if it's higher before proceeding.

3.8 serves as the foundation, and my readings stay just under 30°C.

With your 12GB RAM and a powerful machine like the Ryzen 5 3400G, running Minecraft 1.12.2 with 20 mods is already straining the CPU at high usage. You might need more mods or better hardware to keep things stable.
