Hello! Thanks for reaching out. I recently assembled my first PC and it functions perfectly until I close a game. Restarting the same game doesn’t cause issues, but launching another one often fails or takes a long time to start, and some textures fail to load. I’ve noticed that powering off and restarting resolves the problem. Using Task Manager to end background processes doesn’t help. All drivers and BIOS are up to date, Windows is current, and I’ve tried both EXPO and disabled settings. Please note that shutting down fixes it, but restarting doesn’t seem to work. I'll verify Rebar's status and perform some SSD health assessments. It's possible defective components are causing the issues you're experiencing.
It appears the process is slow to load into the cache and VRAM, but this should be immediate on your high-end gaming rig
Resizable bar is active. SSD health tests are satisfactory, 100% lifespan, temperature at 64°C.
Thanks! It looks like a fresh install resolved the issue. I’ll run additional tests this week, though the recent night’s work seems to have made a big difference.
