I recently changed from an Intel Core i5-12600K to a Ryzen 7 7700X. My RX 6800XT was also used with the Intel setup. After switching back to Ryzen, I've experienced stuttering and audio issues during gameplay and Discord conversations. When the game is running but not fully loaded, everything works fine with headphones. This suggests the CPU might be the cause, as I didn't face these problems with the 12600K. I play games at 1440p. Any advice on diagnosing this would be appreciated.

You changed because the 12600k is a solid CPU. Did you perform a complete system reset after replacing the motherboard and CPU? Was SAM turned on?

12600K experienced several USB-related problems. Devices would disconnect unexpectedly during gaming, such as the keyboard, mouse, or Ethernet adapter. The issue occurred on two motherboards and was frustrating. After installing the CPU, I performed a clean Windows install because it wouldn't boot normally otherwise. I didn't do a fresh Windows install for the 7700X since it booted up on its own. SAM should be enabled. I'm considering a new Windows installation.

Yes, both the BIOS and chipset driver have been fully updated.

A new setup appears to fix the problem. It might be wise to standardize this process so I reinstall Windows each time I switch platforms. I also updated the BIOS afterward.
