that's what I discovered seems odd. my memtest ran very fast. i assumed it might be outdated info. i checked 16GB definitely. i also searched online – it takes twice as long with 8GB, but i thought maybe they meant one test. hm, maybe something needs to be adjusted. for the power supply i'm considering swapping it once my finances allow. is there a chance the mem test was affected? if so, what settings or adjustments should i make to run a full memtest86?
By default, the first test is the reduced (fast) version instead of the complete one. You must switch the test from the "Test Selection" menu before starting the test. Also, did you adhere to the setup instructions?

just reviewed all the tests and it passed 13 tests four times during the process. i don't know why it was so quick. i even ran it again once more a few days ago and it was that fast once more. (when i tried, i reinstalled memtest86 on my usb)

The result will indicate which tests were successfully passed.
From the shared link, you can identify which of the two tests are absent (Test 14 is missing).
When applying the test, a dot appears before the selected one to show it's active.
