In the battle, I dropped to 30 FPS unexpectedly. It usually stays steady around 59-60. My hardware includes an i7 6700K at 42°C and a GTX 1080 at 76-78°C. What caused this change?

These posts really catch my attention because the original poster stays focused on their own thoughts without engaging with others.

It was surprisingly smooth until it began to slow down. It had been stable for about six months after July. I’m still puzzled.

Review your signature, focusing on the third line regarding stuttering. Determine if this relates to a V-Sync problem, or let me know what additional details you'd like to share.

The performance actually declined. The frame rate indicator fell to roughly 40 frames per second.

If you avoid reading this subject, I won’t be able to assist you. Keep in mind that 40-45 fps often indicates v-syncing from 30 to 60 frames per second, with an average of 45.

I’ll attempt this again, though I’m unsure it’s the cause since Vsync has been running continuously since last July. I expected a temperature problem because restarting the PC afterward resolves the issue. As mentioned earlier, my GPU reaches 78 °F while my CPU stays at 42 °F.
