Issues with overclocking the Gigabyte Radeon RX 460 2GB chip are common.
Good day,
I’m reaching out for help with the following setup:
AMD Athlon x 4 860k 3.7ghz,
Asus A68 HM-Plus FM2+,
Gigabyte Radeon RX 460 2GB,
Windows 10,
Gigabyte Xtremem gaming utility / MSI Afterburner.
The problem arises when I attempt to overclock the GPU using either of these software tools—it fails to stick and reverts to normal settings. Previously, I was able to make adjustments, but drivers were updated recently. It’s been a while since I performed an overclock, so I’m unsure if this is the root cause.
Please let me know if you can assist.
Thank you.
remove all overclocking tools, restart the system, set up the newest afterburner version, and attempt once more.
