Hello everyone. This post might fit better on the software forum than the gaming one, sorry about that. I’ve installed the latest drivers—version 350.12—and I haven’t enabled an overclock. In fact, after learning that an overclock could be the cause, I set my clock offset to -10MHz in EVGA Precision X. This didn’t resolve the problem, but it shows I don’t have an active overclock. My display drivers are unstable; they crash unpredictably. I managed to play through free roam in GTA Online for about an hour without issues, trying stunt jumps, but things failed as soon as another player approached. Yesterday I spent some time freeroaming, finishing daily tasks and completing a mission solo, yet I crashed while attempting a race. If I start the game and head straight into a race lobby, it sometimes handles 10 races before failing, or it crashes right before the first race even begins. When I searched online, most results mentioned overclock issues, but my card ran at normal speeds and still had problems—even when slightly underclocked. It seems there might be another factor at play. Could this be linked to other players? My game functioned normally for heists and other activities, but this issue started recently without any changes to settings. What advice do you have? TL;dr: New drivers, but they crash randomly in GTA V, especially with others online.

It looks like you're experiencing higher VRAM usage after the latest update. Have you made sure to install the GTA5-specific driver?

In the display options it mentions about 3.2 VRAM usage, and yes, I own the exact version for GTA V.

It seems you're unsure about something. Could you clarify what you mean?

Are there any visual outputs active on screen such as MSI afterburner bundles? Even when I reduce my OC settings, crashes still occur intermittently during gameplay if the OSD remains enabled.

Refers to the FPS display from GeForce experience, which is the sole one available.

Power it down and use rivetuner—it includes MSI afterburner. Also test without overclocking.

I’m not running at boosted speeds either, just operating at normal performance.

It might be smarter to simply disable shadowplay instead of swapping variables one by one.
