I'm facing issues with setting up Network Discovery and File and Printer Sharing on two Windows 11 machines. The first one works smoothly, but the second one doesn't display the necessary icons. I need to figure out what's going wrong.
Verify the status of Windows Firewall in the check-in process. Navigate to... Allow an App or Feature through windows firewall. Observe whether Network Discovery is permitted. If not, enable it and it will function properly within your setup. Cheers.
Hi KingLoki, that was a good start. I checked the firewall settings and managed to permit File and Printer sharing, though in the advanced network settings there wasn't an Advanced Sharing Settings option like on the other machine. What should I do next? Regards, Jim
