I've encountered some problems recently while playing a particular online game.
When I disconnect from the game, it isn't just due to the server—it's as if my entire PC goes offline. My taskbar shows the internet is cut, and I lose access to other services like Discord.
This only happens with this one game; no other online games cause this issue. The time of day doesn’t seem to matter, and other users on the network don’t appear to affect it either.
I’m connected via Ethernet cable and have tested different router ports.
In short, I’m wondering if anyone can help me identify the source of this problem. Are there any monitoring tools I should use to detect the cause?

Did you check your system for any malicious software recently?

Only one particular game seems to cause this reaction. What is it?

This statement suggests a concern that interactions with other users on the network are unimportant.

@COLGeek
The issue isn't about bandwidth. It occurs when my partner is watching something on another room and scrolling on her phone, even if no one else is around.

Deadlock is a multiplayer game still in early stages of development.
store.steampowered.com
It appears the problem lies with the game's current state due to its age.

Inspect Event Viewer and Administrative View for details just before the disconnection occurs.

There are three aspects to ensuring game connectivity.
Check if your device communicates with your main router using a CMD.EXE window and ongoing ping.
Verify that your primary router can reach the internet through another CMD.EXE window and a ping to 8.8.8.8.
For testing the connection to the game servers, which is more challenging, begin with the available ping tools within the game.

That's right. I'll attempt it again next time.
I'll also figure out how this works.
