Hey, I understand what’s happening. AP mode has been activated by mistake, which has caused the router to become unresponsive. You can still see the WiFi signal but can’t connect or adjust any settings. Since you can’t access the router’s interface, it’s tricky to fix directly. Have you considered resetting the router to factory settings as a last resort? Let me know if you want guidance on that. Thanks, Tristan.

Restart the router's configuration. Typically, press the reset button for 10 to 15 seconds while the device is active, then it will restart and erase all its settings. Always refer to the manual for specific instructions.

AP mode functions as a direct endpoint without routing. Unless you gain access to the device’s web interface or shell, you’ll likely need to reset it. There might be a control on the front panel to switch modes—something I haven’t noticed before. The safest option is to obtain the manual for that model and follow instructions on reverting changes or resetting.

EDIT: If you read this before my update and assumed I was unaware, you’re right. I didn’t realize you mentioned the model in the discussion when responding. Manual link: http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/G..._UM_EN.pdf You can reset the Nighthawk or assign a static IP on your computer within the same /24 range as the router; AP mode should keep wired connections active. For example, set your PC to 192.168.1.10/255.255.255.0 as the default, which is usually 192.168.1.1. Unless you’re outside the standard range, factory settings remain in the manual (page 153).
