Issues with my PC and frame rate are causing problems.
Hey, I'm having an issue with my FPS in Fortnite. Usually I get steady 160 frames, but it seems like the number keeps showing as 160 even when it should be dropping. I've checked everything—frame rate is normal, frame time looks right, PC temps are good, factory reset was done, drivers reinstalled via DDU, CPU and GPU overclocked, and I'm playing at 144Hz. Still no improvement. What should I do next?
Thanks to amazing games you won't always achieve smooth frame rates. Even powerful machines struggle with this title. Gamers with an i9 and RTX 2080 Ti still experience lag in it. The distance between servers doesn't help much. I usually see 15-25 fps, but in chapter 2 season 1 I consistently got around 30 fps.
