Corsair rm850x (2021 version). During testing with the 3090ti, I didn't utilize the additional 650w unit at all.

The PSU is also supplying power to the motherboard, correct? If so, are the 4-pin, 8-pin, and 24-pin connections securely connected to both the motherboard and the PSU? And what device are you using to charge the GPU? A Corsair cable or another type of adapter?

Yes it does. I wasn't sure if an 8-pin would suffice for a 105w cpu. Is it necessary for a 3090ti? The 8-pin and 24-pin are securely connected. I use OEM Corsair cables that came with the PSU and the X3 8-pin to 12vhpwr included with the 3090ti.

Is there any doubt about the 3090Ti's functionality? Have you verified it in a different setup?

In an old computer yes. Still faced the same problem, but integrated graphics handled it so I could use Windows. I'm starting to believe the 3090ti might be the issue, though that would be the worst fix.

Alright, that's my assumption too.

However, I verified it on an older machine using a cable riser, and the power came from the same Corsair 850W unit.

Consider trying a different PSU, preferably 850w or higher, if possible. Avoid using a riser cable.
