Hello, the description indicates you're facing issues with your PC repeatedly booting in a loop. No matter the speed you set—using XMP or manual timing—I still experience this looping until it eventually starts Windows, but only with limited memory and stuck at 2133MHz. I’ve managed to run two systems (one with dual 8GB sticks, Corsair Vengeance RGB, precise specs) at 3000MHz, higher voltage (1.38), and more relaxed timing settings (18-20-20-20-38). My current setup includes:

- Ryzen 5 2600X (recently replaced after a firmware update; got the new 2600X in box)
- B450 Aorus Elite (updated BIOS, but had component issues)
- Corsair Vengeance RGB (3200MHz, 16-18-18-36, 1.35V, also replaced twice)
- Corsair RM750x (only changed case)
- WD 256GB SSD
- Seagate 2TB HDD

This problem has persisted for at least a year now. I’ve tried to adapt and upgrade, but it remains unstable. I have a spare system for testing, though I suspect it’s even less reliable. The issue seems to affect performance too, with noticeable frame drops in games. If anyone can assist, please let me know.

The Ryzen 1000 and 2000 lines often faced challenges with memory operating above 3000MHz. This stems from the original Zen design not supporting such high speeds. Adjusting memory rates also affects the speed of the interconnects between CCXs, indicating the problem isn't limited to the IO die itself. Achieving 3200MHz required many factors aligning correctly, which explains why 3000MHz was a safer choice before the Ryzen 3000 series. Have you attempted to use XMP mode and then reduced the speed to 3000MHz to maintain better timings while running slower?

Check your BIOS settings; recent updates have improved compatibility over time. However, in my experience, Corsair Vengeance often caused issues with Zen/Zen+. It might be best to sell your current gear and invest in Crucial Ballistix instead.

Consider upgrading your BIOS to version F64a and turn on XMP1.

Issues remain, but it now supports 3000MHz with XMP timings. Performance is still lacking at 32GB and 3200MHz.

Gigabyte often has strict requirements for compatible RAM. Review the provided QVL file meant for your motherboard (B450 Aorus Elite(r1)) and CPU (Ryzen 5 2600X). If it’s missing, your RAM may not be supported. This likely explains your issues. While exceptions exist, based on my experience with Gigabyte boards, it seems this is the standard. I’m hoping your RAM matches the list included here. Please confirm.

I possess the CMW16Gx4M2C3200c16 package here, though I'm not entirely sure if this matches what's installed. I'll follow up later. Regarding the model difference—just a single letter and number change matters little, especially since the lower list notes they can't verify every model.
