Issues with memory and frequent blue screens
Hello, a few weeks ago I upgraded my ram from 32Gb to 64GB with a brand new HyperX 3600Mhz 4 DIMM kit and ever since then I've been getting constant blue screens Heres my current setup Ryzen 7 3700x (bought at launch), Gigabyte X570 Mobo, 64GB Hyperx 3600Mhz, GTX 1080Ti, 1Tb NVMe ssd (with fresh windows install) Heres the troubleshooting i've done already I cleared SMOS before installing the new memory and tried stock settings - Upgraded bios to latest - Ive also tried Ryzen DRAM calc for both 3600Mhz and 3000Mhz timings along with changing voltages and infinity fabric still no difference - then ran a memtest with stock timings in windows which after 5 hours returned no errors then blue screened The memory I had before gave me a few blue screens until I added the Ryzen DRAM calc timings then it was rock solid stable for months. (Corsair LPX 3200Mhz 32GB 2 DIMMs) Im convinced the issue is either the memory or maybe the cpu isn't high quality? Would really appreciate some help here, before I try buying a new CPU -James
Adjust the SOC to 1.15, configure the DRAM to 1.35. Test with 3200 MHz and verify functionality. Note that using 3600 at 4 dimms could fail because of FCLK and IMC constraints.
