Issues with low frame rates on the latest model. GPU-related problems.
Immediately after installing my computer, I conducted several benchmarks using programs such as Superposition, 3D Mark, and a game to stress-test my system. I quickly realized something was amiss—especially in the shadow of Tomb Raider. My average FPS is roughly half that of others using the same GPU and a comparable or slower CPU. The game indicates my GPU utilization is around 74%, while the minimum, average, and maximum frames are significantly lower than expected, whereas the CPU appears to be performing adequately. (See image for details) https://imgur.com/a/QQvUvHa In 3D Mark, my GPU performance is about 2.5k lower than ideal, dropping my average by nearly 2k and placing me in the bottom 3% of similar systems. Many users run overclocking software, yet some of the lowest GPU scores I’ve seen are near 20.4k, suggesting overclocking isn’t the solution for everyone (my score is here: https://imgur.com/a/jYa13od). I also tested with hwinfo 64 running in the background, but no changes were observed. I’ve stress-tested RAM, CPU, and GPU using OCCT and Cinebench for the CPU, all reporting no issues. At this stage, I’m puzzled about why my frames remain so low despite thorough checks. I’ve tried basic fixes like re-seating the GPU, switching PCIe cables, installing new drivers via DDU, and updating motherboard BIOS settings. XMP for RAM is already enabled in the BIOS. If anyone has insights, I’d really appreciate it.
