I recently changed my GPU from a GTX 1050ti to an RX 7600 XT and used fresh thermal paste along with a better CPU cooler. Temperatures are now stable between 35-40°C during idle and 70-75°C while gaming, eliminating thermal throttling.

Before the upgrade, I achieved 90-120 FPS in CS2 with the GTX 1050ti. After switching to the RX 7600 XT, my FPS dropped to only 100-130, which is a significant drop and far below expectations. This problem also affects other games I’ve played.

Some AAA titles that I previously managed to run smoothly are:
Halo Infinite: 110-144 FPS on ultra settings
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order: 65-105 FPS on ultra
Battlefield 1: 144-160 FPS on ultra

I’m running out of ideas and growing concerned about the lack of performance gains I should be seeing with this new setup.

Fixes I attempted:
- Moved games to SSD
- Reinstalled drivers via DDU
- Reinstalled Windows and formatted drives
- Enabled XMP in BIOS
- Applied new thermal paste and installed a new CPU cooler (temperatures are now acceptable)
- Activated ReBar
- Set power options to high performance

P.S.: I used ChatGPT for this post, don’t blame me—I’m done with this issue. My friends have been trying for 2-3 days, but a brand new GPU and CPU still aren’t delivering. I really need help.

performed a CPU benchmark to verify your processor is functioning correctly
userbenchmark indicates it should perform well in this scenario

This was the benchmark outcome. It states that no SSD was detected, despite having the operating system installed on it. Could you please examine the entire benchmark and share your thoughts?

your main issue seems to be the limited amount of memory available.

Sure, I can clarify that. You should consider whether to use another stick of 16 or opt for two new 8s or even fresh 16s. Regarding how a single stick of RAM can limit performance, it's because the processor can only access as many memory slots as there are sticks in the system. If one stick is full, it creates a bottleneck, slowing things down.

Thank you very much! You're a real lifesaver, and I couldn't say it more than that. This resolved everything for me—Jedi Fallen Order now runs at a steady 144 FPS, CS2 is stable between 170 and 280, and AC Origins performs well at 80 to 90 on Ultra. All other games are also functioning properly! Thanks so much!
