Hi! I started assembling this PC about a month and a half ago, but I wanted to address this issue now. On the very first day of building, I maintained a steady 144 fps with maximum settings in both menus and games—no interruptions. By the second day, performance dropped to roughly 90-70 fps in-game and about 70-80 in the menu screens, and it has stayed that way ever since. After an update on the sixth day, I noticed game performance jumping back up to 100 fps and menus back to 144 fps. It’s unclear if the improvement in the menus was due to a background change or something else. Should I run a BIOS check or reinstall drivers? Also, I have GeForce Experience installed but disabled the in-game overlay. My current driver version is 461.40. I’m quite puzzled and a bit disappointed since my PC isn’t running at its expected level. If anyone has any advice, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I think there could be an issue with the entire PC, not just the Rainbow setting. My Overwatch FPS has dropped slightly too, so maybe something is affecting performance.
