Please help Ok so here is my Rig Intel I7 5930k Asus strix x99 gaming motherboard 2x Asus strix 1080 graphics cards one is an advance one is not Asus strix high bandwidth bridge Force 500 250gb m.2ssd Ok so when I first installed all this windows 10 pro and steam for shadow of war l was getting averge 109 fps at 4k. After a clean Windows uefi install every thing is just terriable dropping to 23fps on 1080p. Games runnng slow and juddering installed latest game ready drivers but still no luck. I will upload some pics of what I get now and a vid on the 4k performance game would run smooth with ultra setting no problems but now it' just pants any ideas ??
I'm assuming all drivers are installed, including M.2 SSD support and Windows updates. In BIOS verify both cards are recognized, look for a menu to check. On your Asus board, confirm SLI is active via the nVidia control panel using a GPU stress test like Heaven. Try removing Steam and Shadow of War to rule them out. If the issue persists, turn SLI off, reinstall video drivers, run Heaven without SLI enabled. If problems continue, use HWInfo to ensure both cards are functioning properly and monitor CPU usage. Recheck after each step.
You may encounter the same issue I faced with GSYNC and full-screen mode in Windows. Performance drops significantly to 22 or 23 frames per second unless GSYNC is turned off or the game runs in standard full-screen.
