Hello everyone, I'm facing an unusual issue. I've been living in Norway for the rest of the year (arrived last week). I can't communicate with a friend in Germany through Discord. Whether on my Windows 10 PC or phone, I hear them speaking very clearly but with a loud, high-pitched distortion that makes it impossible to understand. This noise interferes completely, causing headaches after just ten seconds. We've also tried Teamspeak 3 and WhatsApp voice calls, but the same problem persists. I have a strong 100/10 cable internet connection from Telia. My router is a GL.iNet AXT1800 (Slate AX) connected to a Telia-owned router/modem in bridge mode. Anyone have suggestions on how to resolve this? It worked fine two weeks ago when I was in Germany. Thanks in advance!
I'm in Norway, though I'm not using Telia. Still, it shouldn't be an issue. If you experience sound problems, it might be due to corrupted sound drivers or codecs. However, since you also have it on your phone, try connecting directly to the mobile data network—not Wi-Fi. If the issue persists, it could be related to data interference from the Russian region. Make sure to contact Telia for further troubleshooting.
