What items remain active in the background? In the task manager, open the processes section and sort by memory usage. The top applications are listed first, along with their RAM consumption. Also, welcome to the forums! Note: I just noticed that over 4.6GB is reserved for hardware. I’m not sure how to resolve that, so I can’t assist further. My current hardware reservation is 119MB.
Typically poor connections occur between RAM/mobo or within the CPU socket, or if one component is defective.
Consider swapping out a RAM module, but if reseating didn't help, it might not be the issue.
Test each stick individually in each slot to identify which one or slot fails. If you have additional sticks, consider swapping them out.
I’ve experienced APU before, but they usually require a minimum of 1.1GB; however, I feel 4.9GB might be excessive.
