I've been experimenting with the CPU in the Asus Z690 Hero motherboard, adjusting its settings at the standard default overclock of 52x/40x to pinpoint stability limits before increasing further. I discovered that a core voltage around 1.36 V works best for stability and have shifted focus to cache voltage testing. Initially, I began with 1.3V and experienced a BSOD, gradually raising it by 0.01V until stability appeared. Once at 1.45 V, the system remained unstable, so I reset the cache voltage to its default setting to verify OS integrity. Running sfc /scannow revealed no file corruption. Continuing manual testing, I reached 1.45 V without significant stability gains. This is my first attempt at a manual overclock—any insights could be helpful?
