i encountered a major problem with my pc recently. it might seem minor, but i wanted to share the details. the internet connection works fine, though the cable and modem are intact. the search bar fails completely, no apps launch, and the taskbar freezes unexpectedly—even when it opens, cpu, gpu, and memory don’t respond properly. i tried using youtube’s vdos fix, but it didn’t help. eventually, i installed a brand new windows 10, and everything functioned normally. however, after a few days, the same issues resurfaced, requiring another fresh install. at that time, my motherboard ran an outdated bios version, possibly incompatible with my system (version 1909). i updated the bios to the latest version and reinstalled windows, but the problem persisted for about 10-15 days. specs: cpu - ryzen 2400g, motherboard - gigabyte a320m-s2h, ram - 8gb/2400mhz, hdd - 240gb ssd.

It could be a hardware issue. Cheap Gigabyte motherboards aren't always reliable. Even with a good board, unexpected problems can occur. A possible fix is using a low-cost LAN card that connects via PCI-e. Before doing anything, verify your router's address reservation in the DHCP settings, configure a static IP on your system, and test again. Also, consider checking your AV software—sometimes it's the root cause.
