Hello, my name is Jonas. I’m aware my CPU is really slow, and playing games has been so frustrating lately. I’m not sure what to do. Thanks for your help!

Newer titles put more strain on systems. You can't easily fix it except by upgrading your hardware. Or is this related to older games that worked before? It might be due to outdated drivers or temperatures going too high, causing thermal throttling. Sometimes newer GPU drivers aren't fully compatible with older hardware. Try removing the current GPU drivers using DDU and reinstalling those from a previous year. If that doesn’t help... Consider reverting to an earlier version. And if that still fails... It suggests another issue at play. (Good luck with troubleshooting...) For temperature checks, monitor CPU and GPU temperatures during gameplay for more than ten minutes.

Review your background tasks to see if any are consuming excessive CPU resources. Perform a malware scan and monitor system temperatures.

Hey team. I usually play GTA V and about three months ago I ran it at around 40-45 frames per second, but now it's only 20-30 FPS with low settings on. I understand the game is CPU-intensive, yet it still runs smoothly.
