I'm facing issues when trying to install Windows 8.1 using my product key. The system keeps showing the error message about internet connection. I checked online but didn't find a clear fix. Some suggest the product might be faulty, though I wouldn't expect that if I were allowed to continue. If you have experience with this, please share any advice.

I avoided typing the code into the install menu. When W8.1 was ready, just open the system info on the config screen.

I’m preparing a bootable copy of Windows 8.1 for your upcoming PC. Right now you’re using Windows 7 on a less-than-ideal laptop.

I completed my PC build last weekend. It was a clean installation on my system. I successfully entered the product code without any problems. Here’s what you can see: Bootable version of Windows 8.1. Let me know how it turns out!

I believe the issue might be with an incorrect product key, though I'm not certain.

I was testing some options online. I haven’t purchased anything yet. Just checking if it would function fully with a product key.

I purchased one and set it up over the weekend. Functioned smoothly without any problems. If there were any issues, you can reach out to the retailer or Windows support for assistance. Also, I bought the Windows 8.1 full edition, not the OEM version, and it came from Amazon.
