Issues with installing Canon software for my printer
My router and Win 11 PC identify my Canon TR8622 printer, but the installation tool doesn't detect it. The drivers appear in Device Manager, and the printer appears in Devices and Printers as well as print options. What steps can I take to ensure the program installs the software, including for the scanner and basic services?
Consider executing the setup as an administrator by right-clicking the application and selecting "run as administrator."
Or, attempt to install using Safe Mode.
I'm sorry that I didn't respond earlier. I attempted both solutions, but the administrator didn't function properly and safe mode didn't help with installation. I searched online for fixes, but nothing worked. The Canon TS9120 printer isn't being recognized by the install software, though it still shows up in other programs like scan tools, Word, and photo editors. My previous TS9120 stopped producing ink even after replacing the print head a year ago, and I made sure the cartridges had ink. I tried the cheaper TR8620 model, but it didn't help. I'm considering getting a new TR8622A for better graphics and image quality, and if I face similar issues, I can reach out to Canon for assistance since it's a new product.
