Someone else has observed this too. I just set up Windows 10 for testing and noticed unusual behavior. Both Windows 10 and Windows 11 are completely updated.

Sure it's not just run to run difference?

The figures seem quite different from typical variance, making it tough to eliminate a software issue. It might relate to a security enhancement. I'm uncertain if that's correct though. Check out the article on ZDNet about Windows 11 hardware security tips for Windows 10. There are also discussions on AIDA64 and AnandTech regarding performance drops after enabling Hyper-V in Windows 11. For more details, you can review the resources provided.

Thanks! I'll review it this morning. Do anyone else own a 5950 for AIDA testing?

It's frustrating. The test was faulty from the moment it was released.

No, I'm not running Windows 11. I can't assist with that.

I'm testing 11 on my 5600X and 5900X right now. It's not great at work, but I'll run it later. Keep in mind, the L3 performance in Aida is really low—comparable to a 7th or 8th generation Intel chip. But with version 10, bandwidth becomes impressive.

I didn’t notice this. I’m using my son’s laptop right now—it’s not maxed out, just a simple overclock to help his GTX 980 Classified run. The L3 is really struggling. RAM is at 1.45v.

It might just be a slow performance on 11. You could try other benchmarks to verify. If Aida works with Windows 11, you might want to reach out to their support team. Note that the version appears outdated, but it’s not critical right now. The issue could stem from Aida, Windows, the processor, or simply design choices.

It's a bit embarrassing, but it really shines. They back 11 and have a fresh take on Aida. Aida kept us from playing and now we're being charged again. Don't worry, I've been using my key for more than ten years.
