Hello guys! I'm new to overclocking and stuff, but i have an i5-2500k with the H61H2-M10 (ecs) motherboard, When i try to overclock my cpu, the cpu multiplier is locked at 33 I'm not sure if the problem is that my motherboard isn't OC compatible or not, it says it can do on the manuel. I tried installing the xtu thing, and same thing, my max multiplier was 33. Can u help me? Thank you for your time.

Use a Z68 or Z77 board to boost the chip's speed.

They probably copied the instructions from a board that allows overclocking, but that specific model doesn’t support it. For LGA1155, Z and P chipset boards can boost non-K CPUs by 400MHz, though they can’t do the reverse.

Ensure Intel Turbo Boost and C states are activated in the BIOS. This board won't allow overclocking, but with correct configuration, Turbo Boost can boost performance to around 3700 MHz when one core is running. See the CPU World article for details.
