It didn't work even though you followed each step of the video carefully.
Unexpectedly, the situation deteriorated even more. Much worse than before. Right away, while driving it became completely unresponsive, unlike earlier when it only started lagging slightly. EDIT: Removed GFE completely.
Are there any high-end graphics options activated? Specifically, extended distance scaling. Please adjust the sensitivity accordingly. Here’s the download link for GeForce Experience: http://www.geforce.com/geforce-experience/download
The problem happens when I quickly switch tabs away from the game and then return. It often resolves within roughly half a minute, though at times I need to restart the game entirely.
Unfortunately, none of these options have been successful thus far.
