Hello, I'm attempting to update my motherboard with the newest BIOS using Gigabyte Q-Flash. All parts of the PC are installed, but the DRAM debug light remains active. I've tried various fixes and discovered that updating the BIOS might be the answer. I cleared the CMOS by using the jumpers and removing the battery, then removed all components before reconnecting the motherboard and CPU power. After pressing the Q-Flash button, the CPU debug light illuminated briefly and then turned off. The manual indicates a flashing process that should take about six minutes. Please let me know if this helps. Thank you.

I’d guess it wasn’t about installing the latest BIOS via USB. Some folks brought in systems with the Q-Flash button stuck, thinking just pressing it would work, but they didn’t realize a USB with the correct BIOS file was necessary for a successful flash.
