Hi,
My brand new build is having problems! (Surprise)
Ryzen 7 3700x
RTX 2070 super
Gigabyte B550 aorus
Cosair vengeance pro 16gb
750w PSU
It was assembled by a store since I didn’t want to tackle the job. It runs games for about 10 minutes before crashes and shows an error message.
I’ve tried pubg, arma 3 and fortnite with the same outcome. Playing at 1440p. Minecraft/ squad doesn’t have this issue yet and all games function properly when they do. I’ve updated all graphics drivers. Benchmarked and everything seems normal. A memory diagnostic also came back fine. I’m really confused about what’s going on! This PC was built for me yesterday and I’m quite disappointed.
Any advice?

Hi! Could you please share the PSU brand and model details? Also, did you attempt to use DDU prior to updating the newest GPU drivers?

Hi,
I haven’t experimented with DDU no. Would you suggest it? I’m not very familiar with PC building. I want to note that a friend had identical specifications built by the same team and he’s experiencing crashes on desktop, but his system runs perfectly there. His PC works fine on desktop but fails in games. The CPU idles around 45-50°C and the GPU around 50-55°C. There are 8 fans total: 3 case fans, 3 RGB fans, and one CPU fan. I own a Cooler Master Hyper 212 RGB Black Edition cooling system. The PSU is:
Corsair RM750, RM Series, 80 Plus Gold Certified, 750 W Fully Modular ATX Power Supply - Black
Thanks for the info!

Do you have your graphics card connected directly, bypassing the motherboard? The HDMI or Display port is linked to the monitor, which in turn connects to the graphics card.

You should consider returning it, since you've already spent money on a quality product.
Repairing it might cancel your warranty.
