I used to experience significant game stuttering in titles such as Dota (minorly) and Titan Fall (completely unplayable due to it). Although I was using an AMD CPU like yours, which was a different architecture (Phenom X6), now I still occasionally face the problem in Titan Fall even with my 4790k, though it's much less severe and usually resolves after a few seconds. Many of the stuttering issues were resolved by performing a fault check on my HDDs on my older machine, where the problem was more noticeable. It identified numerous invalid and corrupt registries and removed them, which improved my launch speed (just slightly) and fixed about 95% of the stuttering. I won<|pad|>'s say this won't apply to everyone, but it definitely helped a lot for me. Before you attempt to delete corrupt registries, double-check your system to avoid damaging it.
