I achieved a 3600 MHz TRIDENT Z in slots 2-4. When running Bo6, I launched games after updating the BIOS and chipset. But during play, my GPU drops below 100 frames, CPU at 5800X3D, motherboard B550M, Steel Legend.

Ensure it is enabled, configure RAM speed to optimal levels. Activate this setting during the initial BIOS setup. Usually found in a drop-down option. Select the profile displaying your RAM speed.

Did you use an older RAM configuration? It's conceivable the BIOS retains previous RAM parameters for the new memory, leading to instability. Was the system running at 3600MHz?

Old RAM isn't running XMP, and it's not set to 3600 MHz.
