Over the last couple of months I've faced problems in several games (CS:GO, Warzone, Forza 4) where I'm stuck on a loading screen. The frames drop to around 0-1 FPS. For example, I can't progress past training in Warzone because it runs at less than 1 FPS and I have to press alt+f4. When I switch tabs, the game seems to run smoothly, but tabbing again makes it almost unresponsive. I don’t know what’s causing this or which part of my PC is affected! I have an MSI GeForce RTX 2080, 16GB RAM, and a Ryzen 7 3700x.

Which brand and model is the PSU?
Is there a malware scan running on the system?
What are the CPU and GPU temperatures when idle versus during gaming?

SSD= 1TB Samsung 870 QVO 2.5" with 560MB/s read speed and 530MB/s write speed
HDD= 2TB Seagate BarraCuda SATA-III at 6.0Gb/s and 7200RPM
PSU= Corsair RM750x 750W modular gaming power supply with 80+ Gold rating
CPU Idle temperature rises to 51°C before dropping to 43°C
CPU performance in Fortnite ranges between 50-60°C
GPU idle stays steady at 45°C
GPU performance during Fortnite reaches 70°C
Malware scan results show a paid Kaspersky subscription, scanning regularly without any alerts.
