It's been happening for a while now. Whenever I attempt to view a video on any site using Flash, it either stops loading, freezes, changes color, or skips sections. It's really frustrating because watching a short clip requires multiple refreshes. I've removed and readded Flash, but the issue continues. Do you know any possible causes or fixes?

Verify if several Flash versions are present in your system. Access Control Panel → Programs → Programs and Features.

Which web browser are you employing? For Firefox or Internet Explorer, attempt to remove the add-ons and refresh both from the Microsoft installation site: http://download.macromedia.com/get/flash...tive_x.msi http://download.macromedia.com/get/flash...plugin.msi. If issues persist, consider disabling protected mode by locating C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash\mms.cfg and inserting ProtectedMode=0 (or modify the existing value from 1 to 0). Testing Chrome updates might help as well. For Chrome users, checking for a newer version is recommended. Resetting the browser via menu > settings > advanced settings > reset browser settings could also resolve the issue. If you're running a 64-bit operating system, uninstalling and testing 64-bit Chrome (canary) may provide clarity.

I verified the only version available is 16.0.0.305. Jarsky, I use Chrome, Firefox, and IE for various reasons. I attempted your advice, but nothing resolved the issue, even after failing to install the first .msi file. I reset Chrome's settings once, but it didn't help. I'm currently on the latest update. Previously, I tried the 64-bit Chrome version, thinking that was when the problem began. Since then, I switched to the standard edition, yet the issue persisted. I think another try might work.

It's strange it keeps happening in all three browsers, likely related to the operating system or hardware drivers. Try turning off hardware acceleration.
