Is there a USB port connected from the computer and a reset button or small opening on the back you can use to reset the device?
I've never experienced a Play Station controller running smoothly for extended periods, often needing a companion program (SCP) that risks becoming malware.
There is a situation where Bluetooth for PS controller tends to be unreliable with devices that don’t use the Microsoft Bluetooth stack, and some adapters also fail. However, the most effective solution is using a wired connection, which has been a challenge for me for nearly a week. Have you explored DS4Windows forks? They have proven successful for both DS3 and DS4 controllers, and reportedly support dual-sense emulation. I personally use this fork, even though I haven’t analyzed the open-source code to verify its stability. It seems unlikely they would be problematic.
