I’m dealing with unusual issues when switching between OS X Sierra and Windows 10. Recently, while coding on Windows, my PC shut down unexpectedly at night. Upon restarting, Apple Mail asked for passwords for all accounts and Spotify logged me out. After rebooting, everything returned to normal except my Chrome profile, which is now corrupted. This has occurred twice in the past two weeks. Could this be related to not using a DSDT? I’ve only applied the ShutdownFix patch via Clover. My hardware details are: Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UP7 GPU and Gigabyte GTX 1080 Ti.

I didn't see that one. Maybe I should focus on other groups instead.

It would be amusing if someone transformed Apple devices into a real computer, allowing you to bypass the rule that only their operating system fits their hardware. As long as it’s legal, that sounds fine, right?

It seems unlikely anyone would reduce their hardware to match Apple’s laptop standards, as the company often integrates desktop components into laptops as well.

I envisioned repurposing discarded Apple devices—computers no longer functional or in good condition.
