Hello everyone! My Dell Latitude 5480 has been having Wi-Fi issues lately. Everything worked fine until I accidentally pressed FN + PrtScr and turned off the adapter. When I tried to turn it back on, it didn’t work. All my drivers are up to date. I’ve experienced this before and managed to fix it once, but this time it’s not working. I also attempted a network reset and restarted the laptop a few times, but no improvement. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Open the control panel and navigate to Network and Internet → Network Connections. Check everything appears correctly and ensure nothing is turned off. In the worst scenario, you may have to swap out the Wi-Fi card, which should be replaceable.

Have you attempted that key combination once more? It might have taken a moment to settle before it restored your WiFi. Look at the laptop’s sides for any visible toggle. Consult the BIOS settings to confirm if a specific button exists for reactivating it.

I tried using FN + F12 for about five minutes, but nothing happened. There don’t seem to be any physical buttons. I looked in the BIOS and didn’t see any options to turn it back on (or perhaps they’re not visible).
