Hello everyone, I'm facing issues with the XMP profile for my SKILL Trident Z5 RGB Series. After enabling it, saving, and closing the settings, the system restarts. When it boots again, it reports a failure due to system instability during the previous POST attempt. I'm not sure what's causing this problem.

Do you have another XMP profile ready to test? You may need to tweak the RAM settings yourself for stability. Are your temperatures stable with the 120mm AIO?

There are two XMP presets, but both the computer and CPU stay stable. The CPU never goes above 70%. It’s really puzzling why it’s so inconsistent.

Check the motherboard first—return it if it's new. If not, open a RMA. If you're okay with the problem and have just two RAM sticks, try the other slots. I experienced this on a 2018 Hero X build; it started in 2020 during an upgrade. The issue worsened when I upgraded to 3200 RAM, which then dropped to 3000 and caused crashes and blue screens. I switched RAMs and still faced problems, eventually corrupting Windows. After returning it, the replacement worked fine with 4000 RAM. From what I've seen, most ASUS boards are either defective or have memory issues. I now mostly use Aorus, though I still prefer ASUS BIOS.
