I open the .exe file and it doesn’t work properly. There’s no error alert, but it doesn’t show up as a Crysalis.exe or similar in Task Manager. Could you check if it launches any other programs or if there are any background processes?

Completed the tasks. Previous actions included: Running with admin privileges, attempting to remove licenses (failed due to missing folder), disabling antivirus protection.

I didn't notice any steps in the task manager. Another user faced the same issue and ended up purchasing a second copy, but that's not something I can do.

It seems the C++ libraries used by the game were likely reinstalled along with the game itself. You may need to remove them and then reinstall them. If done correctly, they should reappear when the game starts again.

You'll find options in the Control Panel under Add/Remove Programs, but it's unclear if these are the source of the issue.
