i’m not sure where to submit this question, but it’s a major problem.
my system has a ryzen 2700 processor.
crosshair vi hero x370 motherboard.
gtx 1080 ti and gskill 3200 flare x ram.
windows 10 is installed.
my build performed well before. it includes a custom water loop and other features.
everything is set up correctly.
recently, i’ve been seeing "error code 8" randomly on my motherboard inside windows.
the computer shuts down abruptly in windows, showing an error code 8 on the motherboard’s display unit.
i’ve tried all possible solutions. updated bios, reset ram, installed a new stick, reset gpu, cpu, waterblock, and mounting pressure.
no bending or damage detected. i refilled the loop and cleaned everything thoroughly.
even after reinstalling windows 10 fresh, i keep encountering error code 8.
i’ve only used default settings, and no overclocking has been applied.
the minimum i can get my ram running at 3200 is still error code 8.
the minimum i run the cpu at its rated speed also results in error code 8.
just recently, after resetting the cpu block, it worked properly.
now i’m stuck during a fresh install, and as soon as i try to install my nvida drivers, error code 8 appears again.
everything seems to be default.

Unfortunately, nothing seemed to work. I've adjusted the BIOS several times. Updating and downgrading didn't help. It keeps getting stuck on code 8 and displays the dram code constantly. I don't think my RAM is failing suddenly after being fine for a year in stock mode.

I placed an order for a new kit on Amazon yesterday and will check again if it improves things. If not, I'll focus on checking the motherboard, CPU, or BIOS issues.
