Hey guys, So I finally got my system to work after this disaster: Now I'm in Windows 10 and the PC is barely functioning. I have no sound, although my headphones are detected in the Realtek software. I have to use the onboard graphics, since my 7900 XTX does not show up at all. Not even the LED are lit. Also the CPU fan refuses to work, it is not detected in the bios, and even with a stress test it does not turn on. Oh and I HAVE to use the display port, since the HDMI on the motherboard does not produce an output. Parts list: Ryzen 7800X3D MSI B650 Plus WiFi 7900XTX GSkill DDR5-6000 12GB x2 beQuiet pure Power 12 M 850 Watt Alpenföhn Brocken 4 CPU Cooler Soundblaster AE-7 Soundcard (put into a full size PCIe Slot, since the gigantic graphics card blocks the normal one. But this should not be an issue, right?) Please help me, I'm so done. If been saving up for this system for years, up until today I used an i7-3770k from 2012. This is so frustrating :'-( EDIT: Yes, of course I installed all the drivers and the latest Win 10 updates. AMD Adrenalin does not pick up the 7900, it only recognizes the onboard gpu.

The CPU fan is typically located near the processor, often on the motherboard or integrated into the CPU itself.

CPU fan 1 on the motherboard. It's been repositioned several times.

Sure, I can test another FAN header to check if it functions properly.

It may help identify a dead or damaged motherboard. Consider using alternative fan headers if available. Alternatively, test the case fan in CPU_FAN 1 to see if it functions. Let's focus on one issue at a time—process of elimination. It might be a short circuit somewhere.

Several problems similar to this while inside the case versus normal operation outside suggest there might be a wiring or grounding issue with the case itself or something improperly connected, resulting in a short to the board. If the motherboard isn't secured correctly within the case, these kinds of faults can occur. I recommend taking the motherboard out again and performing a complete bench test. The fact that the fan failed both in the bench test and inside the case points toward a defective board. I suggest re-testing everything and comparing results to determine if the same issues appear. If they do, replace or return the motherboard. Also, inspect your CPU socket for any bent or broken pins.

This provides a valuable perspective. It's certainly one of the most effective actions, despite requiring significant time investment.
