You're experiencing high fan speeds from your H100i, especially when using the Asus Maximus VI Formula. This could be due to the cooling system working harder under load or ambient conditions. On AI Suit, the fans are likely throttled for stability or noise reasons. Consider checking fan settings, ensuring proper airflow, and monitoring temperatures to see if adjustments help.

Corsair Link is required. Others suggest connecting the fans straight to the motherboard rather than the pump, but I wasn’t able to get Windows to start that way.

Use the Corsair link or switch to a real fan controller. Ai Suite doesn’t work well with it. Software fan control and overclocking don’t perform well together. Even if Corsair Link has issues, you have to use it.

I strongly don't like Corsair Link. Still, I might need to give it a shot. Are there other options to block it besides Corsair Link?

You might attempt connecting the fans to the CPU/CPU OPT locations on your motherboard, though this approach didn’t succeed for you.

I just got back up and set up Corsair Link, but... after removing AI Suit and restarting, the RPMs still don’t change. :L Does this relate to me using Corsair’s SP120 (3-pin) fans instead of the ones that came with the case? I bought them because they looked nicer. The gray ones aren’t my favorite either. Even if it’s because of that, it feels pretty silly since those are Corsair’s own fans.

Only four-pin PWM fans offer adjustable RPM speeds. Corsair introduced the SP120 in a PWM version, so it’s worth getting one. Did you connect the USB cable that came with it?

I turned it on and made a few adjustments in the BIOS settings for the fans. But with the AI Suit, I’m limited to keeping them at around 50%. Even though one fan in front isn’t turning up to even 500 RPM, I’m not sure why that happens.
